First— love Every Moment Holy 🙌🏽

Second — definitely curious to read some of the books about sex, Ryan and I do premarital counseling for the couples he marries, and I always like to have resources to share based on their unique situations. Also interested about the gender books, as Ryan currently pastors a church that doesn’t have women in pastoral roles and I’ve really struggled with it. I started Find your People and just couldn’t get into it, but did love her IF talk. And still love the IF Table questions- look into this if you haven’t already!

Third — I’ve taken a longgg break from reading non-fiction, reading became a burden and not enjoyable so I’ve been doing a lot of novels. But if you want som good novel recommendations, two of my favorites from this year were Malibu Rising (Taylor Jenkins Reid) and The Silent Patient (Alex Michaelides). Also, I found the Dabble Co podcast three episodes about abortion just really helpful information from three unique perspectives.

So many good things to respond to!! haha First of all, definitely check out Authentic Intimacy. That's Dr. Juli Slattery's ministry, and she has so many books and resources on her website that would be helpful I think for premarital counseling for sure!

Secondly, women in ministry is such a big issue I'm slowly studying more, and I liked this book! Worthy is the first one they wrote, but I haven't gotten to that one yet. Jen (obvi) has a really good podcast episode on "Knowing Faith" called Generous Complementarianism (part 1 and 2) that might be helpful.

And yes, I'm the opposite! haha I am slowly getting back into fiction after a very long break, so I'll take all the recommendations! I just finished Midnight Library. Have you read that? I thought it was SO good!
