LORD, I am waiting for You. You are the One to whom I am entrusting my very soul. You are the God of my salvation, my light and my stronghold, my rock, my strength, and my shield. None who wait on You will be put to shame. And yet I am still waiting. To You I'm calling; please don't be silent. Hear me when I cry to you for help. Make me to know Your ways, O LORD; I want to know Your paths, for they are all ones of steadfast love and faithfulness. Turn to me and be gracious to me; my eyes are on You, for I know You will rescue me from this net of weary waiting and indecision. My trust is shaky; may it instead be without wavering, for Your steadfast love is before me, and I walk in Your faithfulness. I believe I will see Your goodness as I have many times before, not only in eternity, but now too. Oh my heart, be strong and take courage; wait for God! My soul will rest in well-being. In You my heart trusts, and I am helped. Teach me Your way, O LORD, and lead me on a level path. I can't walk forward alone; be my Shepherd, and when I feel like I can't take another step forward, carry me forever.
“How often, under stress of difficult circumstances, we are liable to superficial thoughts about God, and about ourselves, which tend to produce despair. In such hours it is good resolutely and persistently to turn in upon one’s own deepest convictions about God, and positively to avow them. Such exercise will open the door of release from the gloom which ever comes from the contemplation of circumstances and from introspection; and lead us out into the light and hope which are always to be found in the presence of God, and remembrance of the truth about Him.”

Poor Bishop Hooper's EveryPsalm project is just incredible.
Great prayer!
